Here in the Philippines cats are not as domesticated as those in foreign countries. Pet dogs far outnumber pet cats. Some families though, with room and funds,  have both. Seeing cats inside the living quarters of a home, feeling like members of the family, is for me a delightful experience. A visit to a friend's house offered me one such experience. And who says rocking chairs are for grannies?
