black against orange
a lovely fire in the sky
the sun just rising

small lemon branches bow down

humble submission

cooling down parched throats

 still hangs freely on a wall

seen but just ignored

culprit of things left undone

later seldom comes

minutes seem to drag

the heart murmurs to the mind

excited...can't wait

seems just yesterday

i cradled them in my arms

how fast they have grown
